Account deletion
Casa lets users initiate account deletion directly inside the app. Deletion is permanent and begins removal of Casa-controlled cloud data associated with the account.
Use these steps on the device where you are signed into Casa.
Open Casa and go to the Settings area for your account or household profile.
Select Delete Account and review the warning explaining what will be permanently removed.
Confirm the request. Casa begins removing the account and associated Casa-controlled CloudKit data.
Account deletion is intended to be permanent. After confirmation, you may lose access to household membership, invitations, chores, bills, shared notes, notification settings, uploaded documents, and account preferences associated with your Casa account.
Casa is designed to remove account data controlled by Casa from Apple CloudKit in production where configured. Some deleted information may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, provider systems, or records retained for security, legal, or operational reasons.
If you are the owner of a household, Casa may require you to transfer ownership or delete the household before account deletion can complete. This prevents shared household records from being left without an owner.
If you cannot access your account or the Delete Account option is not available, email support@casa.app and include the email or account identifier you use with Casa. Do not send passwords, payment information, or sensitive household documents by email.
